30th January, 2019.
This seminar will be presented by Dr. Martin Ruttledge, Consultant Neurologist, The Migraine Clinic, Beaumont Hospital & The Hermitage Clinic, Lucan, Co. Dublin.
The aim of this seminar is to provide pharmacists with a comprehensive overview of current best practice in the acute and preventative treatment of chronic migraine. Chronic migraine occurs when people suffer migraines more than 15 days per month in a 3 month period. We also aim to provide pharmacists with a comprehensive overview of the emerging CGRP (Calcitonin Gene Related Peptide) inhibitor drugs and explain how they will be prescribed and administered to chronic migraine patients
