Event Details

We are delighted to welcome back Dr. Eddie O’Sullivan, director of the Migraine Clinic in Cork University Hospital to speak about Headache and Migraine in Older People.

Many women find that migraine improves after the menopause, but for some, it is only beginning and for others it continues on through their lives, including into their 70s and 80s.

Dr. O’Sullivan will look at different headaches that can be experienced by older people, both men and women; he will look at symptoms of some other headache disorders that occur in older people, and will mention treatments suitable for headache and migraine in older age groups where many commonly used medications are contraindicated.

May the 4th be with you!

With thanks to the HSE National Lottery Grant CHO Area 3 – Clare for the funding for this event. The Scheme to Support National Organisations is funded by the Government of Ireland through the Department of Rural and Community Development
