Event Details

We are delighted to welcome back Karen Prendergast MIAHIP MICP Psychologist, Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

Karen will look at the affect chronic migraine has on those family members and friends who live with and/or care for Migraineurs.

Chronic migraine can affect family members in particular, and it can be especially difficult when nights out, family occasions and important events are being cancelled or missed by someone due to chronic migraine. Many people still don’t understand that migraine is so much more than a headache.

Husbands, wives, partners, children, friends and other loved ones can find it difficult and this causes the migraineur to feel guilty, because their disorder is disrupting the lives of those around them.
