Karen Prendergast, psychologist based in Limerick will do an online workshop on Self Compassion and Acceptance. The event will take place on Monday May 18th at 16:00. You are all welcome to join in. On behalf of the Migraine Association of Ireland we would like to thank Karen for her time and help with our Online Programme

Karen is an accredited humanistic and integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. Following a degree in psychology, she qualified with a postgraduate diploma and masters in Psychotherapy in 2016 and has been a practicing therapist in clinical practice ever since. She currently works in both the public and private sector. She works in the counselling department of a busy city social services centre and has been seeing clients in private practice since 2018. Karen has experience of working with people from lots of different backgrounds with a wide variety of needs, problems and challenges including Trauma, Post Natal Depression, Abuse, Self-Harm, Addictions, psychosexual and gender identity, Grief & Loss, Work Issues, Anger and Self-Esteem. She also has experience working with people who live with a chronic illness or condition such as chronic pain, migraine, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, fatigue, depression, anxiety disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.
