The Migraine Diary
The Migraine Diary is a simple but effective way for patients to manage migraine. A migraine diary can help to establish certain patterns in attacks.
Attacks may only be triggered by a certain combination of trigger factors. Each factor on their own may not be enough to trigger an attack but when combined they do.
Using the migraine diary can demonstrate patterns causing attacks and can help reduce the frequency of the attacks.
The migraine diary will help demonstrate the impact of migraine. It is good practice to recommend using a diary to your patients. It can help him/her to implement a specific treatment plan for you.
